SO FAR you won’t have to have seen all of Avatar to generally understand whats going on in Korra.. However, the stuff that happens in Korra means a lot more if you have seen all of avatar.. for example, at this one part [no spoilers] .. instead of being like “oh geez that’s not good..”.. [if you have seen how avatar ends] you would be like “HOLY HELL!! are you serious right now? how the fuck did this happen?!? [FEELS]” .. that is the difference… just because you could follow the story without seeing all of avatar doesn’t mean you will get as much out of it. I recommend finishing avatar first. [there is only 3 eps out anyway and by the time you finish avatar then you can watch a nice chunk of Korra all at once because waiting for the eps is ANNOYING] XD

Lol okay yeah I think that’s what I want to do, I think I know someone that has all the episodes on DVDs so I’ll just mooch it off of her.

Like after I finish finals next week there will be sO MUCH AVATAR IN MY BEDROOM LIKE WADDUP

I just feel like people are sort of spoiling it for me because they keep talking about the episodes.  I can’t get too mad because I know I would be there with them if I were watching the episodes too. But still, I’m like noooo noooo noooo I’M GOING TO BE WATCHING THAT ELASKJDFL
